When we get triggered, it’s likely because someone else has said or done something and our nervous systems registers it as:
too much
too fast
too soon
You can’t control getting triggered, any more than you can prevent triggers 100% of the time. It’s not your fault that you get triggered, but it is always your responsibility to take care of your body when you’re triggered.
