In less than 10 days my first book will officially be published and available on Amazon. To say that I’ve squirmed (experienced discomfort) as I’ve written this book is an understatement. Over the next few days, I’ll offer you my top 10 reasons for intentionally squirming in your own life.
Reason #8: Intentional squirming will bring up opportunities to comfort your Inner Child and begin to heal old triggers. You may not have had the skills to take care of yourself as a child, but you can take care of yourself as an adult.
A few questions for your consideration:
How willing are you to take care of yourself when you get triggered?
How willing are you to accept that you do have an Inner Child who needs to be healed?
I invite you to click on the link below to book a complimentary happy hour call with me. I’d love to hear about you and offer you the help and support you might be looking for:

Anytime we push ourselves to make continuous progress or grow beyond what’s comfortable for us, our “hot spots” or triggers are bound to surface.
A few questions for your consideration:
How willing are you to squirm in order to create something new?
How willing are you to have your own back as you make progress?
How willing are you to speak up for what you really want?

If you’re committed to “creating a life” that you really love, you must be willing to change your identity. In order to shift and change, you must become a Creator IN your life and stop playing the Victim TO your life circumstances.
In order to create the life of your dreams, you must take full responsibility for doing so and stop blaming anyone else.
A few questions for your consideration:
How willing are you to drop the habit of playing the Victim?
How willing are you to take full responsibility for creating what you really want?

When you’re stressed, it’s not uncommon to OVERestimate the problem or danger and UNDERestimate your ability to handle it.
(I paraphrased a comment made by Dr. Russ Kennedy on the Anxiety Rx podcast.)
A few questions for your consideration:
When do you notice overestimating a problem, situation, or circumstance?
When do you notice underestimating your ability to have your own back and handle whatever happens?

Some of us are highly emotional, and experience our emotions in big waves. Others of us are relatively emotionally c, and don’t experience huge waves of emotions. Both types are capable of feeling and processing their emotions, rather than reacting to them.
A few questions for those of you who resonate with being emotional:
How willing are you to feel your big emotions all the way through before communicating them to others?
How willing are you to wait until your waves hit neutral before acting on your emotions?
A few questions for those of you who resonate with being emotionally calmer:
When do you notice taking on the big emotions of others?
How willing are you to feel and process your emotions all the way through rather than stuffing them down or avoiding them?

In their book ADHD 2.0, authors Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. and John J. Raley, M.D. encourage readers to discern their “right difficult”:
“What’s your outlet, stage…. or tool? What’s your right kind of difficult?”
Your “difficult” is your superpower - what lights you up and challenges you to squirm just beyond your comfort zone.
There are questions we can answer to discern our right difficult - here’s the eighth one:
“What are 4 things that you spend a lot of time doing, but you’re really bad at?”
