You Need A Different Environment
There are five elements or components of differentiation:
- content (what you to need to learn)
- process (how you learn it and how you apply it)
- product (what you create and who you create it for)
- environment (the circumstances you require in which to change)
- assessment (how you’ll measure your progress)
Teaching Gifted Kids in the Regular Classroom by Susan Winebrenner.
If you want to make your life different, you may need to change your ENVIRONMENT. Your ENVIRONMENT can be:
- your actual physical space or setting
- the circumstances of your life:
- your relationships
- your job, career, calling
- your health or well-being
- your time or schedule
- the amount of time you spend:
- alone
- with others
- in group settings
- with a mentor, teacher, or coach
I invite you to consider these questions:
- How might your current environment or circumstances be contributing to your underachievement?
- What about your physical space feels conducive to the results you want to create? What doesn’t?
- Which relationships need to shift or end?
- Is your job or career keeping you stuck in underachievement?
- Do you have enough time:
- alone?
- with others?
- in group settings?
- Am I able to create the “different” I want on my own?
- Do I need an accountability partner or mentor/coach to support me?
- Do I need a group of people?
