What You Always Have A Right To
Years ago, my beloved therapist, Meg, gave me a “Personal Bill of Rights”. Admittedly, at that time, I wanted to want to believe everything on the page, but I didn’t… yet. But thanks to years of personal development with the help of therapists and coaches, today I practice and embody every right on the list. You can too, my friend.
If there’s a “right” that you really want to believe, I invite you to practice these prompts:
- “I want to want to believe that… “
- “It’s possible that I have a right to… “
- “I’m willing to consider that I deserve… “
I invite you to consider these questions:
- What did you notice feeling when you read this Bill of Rights?
- How willing are you to create your own?
- What might prevent you from doing so?
- As you listened to tonight’s episode, did a specific relationship come to mind?
