Moderate This/Part 28

You might be a MODERATOR if you notice that you:

  • find it too restrictive to "stay away from" certain foods/drinks ALL THE TIME.
  • prefer an "occasional indulgence" because it "heightens the pleasure" and "strengthens your resolve".
  • hear NO and just want more.
  • find "denying" yourself just makes you want it.
  • become very preoccupied with food or drink when you don't ever have it.
  • can have just one square of chocolate or one glass of wine.
  • notice that the first bite tastes the best, and your pleasure gradually drops.
  • don't finish the dessert or the drink once you've "had enough".
  • have something and want it LESS.
