How To Want What You Have
There’s a huge difference between “feeling” happy and “being” joyful. Happiness is an inconsistent feeling which is temporarily created by the meanings you create about your circumstances. Joy is a consistent mindset which is independent of your circumstances.
What we think or believe will influence whether or not to strive to feel happy or are adopting a joyful mindset.
I invite you to consider these questions:
- When do you notice tipping into a “fear of missing out” belief?
- When do you notice “having to get what you want” or “having to get what they have”?
- When do you notice “wanting what you have”?
